A nice tennis moment this afternoon at Georgia Tech.

James, now at UGA - wins match point in the third set at the ITA Regionals against Central Florida.

Days like this are a good reminder of what we try to encourage every day at Laurel Park — keep working, keep competing, and keep enjoying the process of getting better.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Joshua Lee!

A great week of tennis isn’t always measured in wins and losses. Sometimes it’s mastering a new skill, competing with greater confidence or refusing to give up on a difficult day. Or sometimes it just might be getting to go to The Varsity after watching some great tennis!

After a hard morning workout at the park Joshua went down to Georgia Tech to watch the NCAA ITA Regionals being played there!

So today we’re celebrating the hard work and dedication of one of Laurel Park’s best young players on the move!

High school tennis season will be here before you know it. The time goes by quickly!

It is actually easy to make the high school team! But earning a higher lineup position or being able to win more matches for your team is hard.

You cannot wait until December or January to make a difference. The work you put in this fall will make or break your season next spring.
