Watching the student athletes hit a challenge in the match or a moment of adversity and push through it with the skills and mindset we have been working on at practice. Also, when the student athletes have a moment where the skill, stroke or strategy they have been working on "clicks" and that belief that we, as coaches, had in them transfers to them believing in themselves in that moment.

🏆 FOUR IN A ROW!

Georgia is bringing home the Callen Cup titles for the fourth consecutive year!

Team Georgia retained both the Mildred Southern Cup and Gil Stacy Cup, finishing with 86 points in the overall standings and winning 56 total courts.

Georgia also captured four of the 10 division titles:
- Men’s 45
- Men’s 65
- Women’s 35
- Women’s 55

A huge congratulations to all of Team Georgia’s players and captains, Chris Bussert and Lee King.

And a special thank you to Tournament Director Adam Dalton for making it all happen despite weather challenges.

It’s Public Safety Appreciation Week, and this year we had the opportunity to visit the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office!

We showed up with some breakfast, USTA Georgia swag, and of course some tennis equipment! We brought racquets, foam balls, and a pop-up net for them to keep and enjoy during their downtime.

Thank you, Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, for letting us visit and for everything you do to keep our community safe.
