We are a competitive 10 and under travel team playing out of Adams Park in historic downtown Kennesaw, Georgia.

Welcome to the 2013 10U Kennesaw Generals page! The Generals are comprised of players from five parks throughout the local area that have come together to compete at a higher level. Our experienced coaching staff and players are extremely motivated and are working hard to make this a successful and memorable season.

Well, the K-9Unit returned home today as their season came to a close! The Generals showed some grit as they dropped to the losers bracket in game 1 and still managed to hang around and take 5th out of 17 teams in the Grand Slam World Series in PCB. It was quite a week...started off with sand storms, torrential rain, almost 10 foot waves and the Opening Ceremonies Parade cancelled courtesy of Hurricane Debbie. Then pin trading got the excitement going only sit and wait on rain delayed games to begin! Finally, the Generals started pool play on Wednesday and went 1-1 as they couldn't quite get the sand out of their eyes enough to wake up for game one. Bracket play started on Thursday and the Generals found themselves headed to the losers bracket in round one as they faced a very stout pitcher from Loiusiana, but they didn't give in! They fought til the end and sent 3 teams home before losing the third game of the day on Saturday evening, just one game shy of hardware. The K9-Unit finished the season 46-18-1!! Words cannot describe how proud we are of these boys and their Never Say Die attitudes! Love these boys & love their families! This was an incredible year, full of memories! Congratulations Bo, Fours, Froggy, Toad, Lupus, Coltrain, Betty, Snake, 3D, Sticks, and Red Wiggler on an incredible year!!

The Generals FINALLY got to play some baseball this week!! Though we didn't exactly all get the sand out of our eyes in game 1, we went 1-1 in pool play. 5th seed out of 17 overall and will begin bracket play tonight at 8:30pm vs the Slidell Scrappers from Louisiana. Good Luck, Generals!! Let's hope we come ready to play!
