Please join us in congratulating Stephanie Parel 👏 and we must thank the United States Adaptive Golf Alliance, the USAGA, for their foresight of adaptive golf competitions across the states and finding the best most talented individual(s) to lead the way! Excited for 2027 and years to come.
We are pleased to announce that USAGA team is growing. Please welcome Stephanie Parel as U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance’s Director of Competitions, bringing over 35 years of experience in the golf industry competition sector. In this role, Stephanie will lead our efforts in scheduling championships, increasing communications with tournament directors, and streamlining the use of USAGA Competition Standards & USAGR Rankings.
Before joining the USAGA, Stephanie worked in the United States Golf Association (USGA) Championships Department for 28 years. During her tenure there, she helped launch the U.S. Adaptive Open, contributed to WAGR/WR4GD, and was the USGA Director of the World Amateur Team Championships.
She holds a BA from Stanford University in English/Creative Writing, and a European Masters in Sports Organization from MEMOS, a program endorsed by the IOC.

When not furthering the mission of adaptive golf, Stephanie enjoys kayaking, following sports (especially baseball), walks with her dog, and spending time with her family and friends.
