After 4 years the Jennie Finch Softball Camp returns to Georgia. Hosted by Titans Sports Academy, camp will be at Shaw Park in Marietta on November 3&4.
On July 27th and 28th, 2013, the Roswell Softball Association and the Roswell Recreation and Parks Department will play host to the Jennie Finch Softball Camp. The camp, open to girls from 3rd grade on up through college, is an amazing opportunity to learn from softball’s greatest ambassador, Jennie Finch. Our goals in hosting this event are many. “From November 3 to November 4, Titans Sports Academy will play host to the Jennie Finch Softball Camp at Shaw Park in Marietta. The camp, open to girls in the 3rd grade and older, is an opportunity to get personal instruction from Finch and her Olympic and professional teammates.
Campers will receive two days of instruction, a certificate of participation, a personal photo taken with Finch and her medals, an autographed photo of Jennie, a goody bag, lunch, and an official camp t-shirt.
There will be a silent auction, raffle giveaways, question and answer session, autographs, pitching demonstration by Jennie as well as a hitting demonstration from all the coaches.
Jennie is a two-time Olympic medalist, winning gold at the 2004 games in Athens and silver in Beijing at the 2008 games. She starred at the University of Arizona where she won 51 straight games, leading the Wildcats to the 2001 Women’s College World Series Championship.
