I’m passionate about teaching swimming as a life-saving skill and believe every child should feel safe and confident in the water.
This video shares why water safety matters all year long…not just in the summer. From bathtubs to indoor pools and family vacations, drowning risks are everywhere and happen quickly. I’ll give you simple tips to keep your kids safe during the winter months and remind you why it’s so important to stay water aware in every season.
Thank you all for such an amazing swim season this year! I can’t wait to see everyone back in the water next spring. Lessons will kick off again in May 2026, with the schedule rolling week by week.
In the meantime, try to keep your kids in the water as much as you can over the winter. Even just splashing and playing makes a huge difference in keeping their skills fresh.
Finally, I’m so grateful for all the love and support from my family, friends, and swim families. I truly couldn’t do this without you!

Most of the summer, the water temperature at Wynford Chase has consistently been over 90 degrees, with last week's average reaching 93 degrees. However, due to the recent rain, the water temperature has dropped to 79 degrees this week. As a result, I have found it necessary to wear a wetsuit to maintain warmth during swimming sessions, particularly since I am not engaging in as much physical activity as my students. This serves as a friendly reminder to families continuing swimming lessons with me throughout August to ensure their children wear long-sleeved rash guards or wetsuits, if available.

Dear friends and families,
I wanted to share an important update as we look ahead to the 2026 swim season. Beginning next year, I will no longer be offering travel swim lessons. To ensure the highest quality experience for all swimmers and to help reduce overall costs, all lessons will be held exclusively at my home base pool located in the Wynford Chase Subdivision.
Additionally, I will not be scheduling any new travel swim lessons for the remainder of 2025. However, if you’ve already booked travel lessons for this year, those appointments will absolutely be honored.
Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding—I’m looking forward to another amazing season with you all!
