So proud of our Sunrise groms! 🌊

We had an awesome showing at the Venice Surfing Association Breakwater Open contest, with our surfers competing across multiple divisions, including U10, U14 Boys, U18 Girls, U18 Boys, and the Open Men’s division.

We also had some great results, with numerous podium finishes across many categories, plus one of our coaches taking second in the Open Men’s!

More than anything, we’re proud of the hard work, commitment, and stoke every single one of our surfers brought to the contest. It’s awesome to watch these kids grow, push themselves, and support one another in and out of the water.

The Sunrise Classic is back! 🏄‍♀️🌅

Sunday, November 8th at Will Rogers State Beach, we’re celebrating a whole season of progress with our annual Sunrise Classic. This is a friendly, low-pressure contest built for fun, growth, and community. Five divisions for all ages (U-8 and up), coaching assistance available, and heats that are all about stoke over stress. A ture skills showcase and beach party, not high-stakes comp.

We’ve got some amazing people helping make it special. Huge thanks to ROLLD Sushi for keeping everyone fueled with lunch, and to Beach Baked for breakfast to start the day right. And a big shoutout to Dare to Dane for being behind the lens and capturing all the memories! 📸

Falling is part of it. 🌊

In surfing — just like in life — you are going to fall. A lot! It’s about getting back on it. Every wipeout is just the setup for the next wave. You paddle back out. You read the waves. You try again. Never give up! That’s a lesson that goes way beyond the water. 🤙

Week 11 🌊☀️

Our last week of Summer Surf Camp at all three locations, and what a summer it has been! So many first waves, big progression, new friendships, wipeouts, laughs, and unforgettable memories in the water.

We still have TWO more weeks of camp at Venice + Will Rogers, but sadly Zuma is officially closed for the summer. We’ll see you back there next June!

These fleeting weeks of summer always go by way too fast, but the memories we make along the way stay with us forever. So much fun, so many good times, and so many incredible kids out there making the most of summer.

Two more weeks. Let’s make them count! 🏄‍♂️🌴

Fall Shred Camp is officially open for sign ups 🍂🏄 Ten Sundays of coaching, four media days, and three surf trips out to Zuma, Huntington, and San Clemente, wrapping with a season celebration at San-O. Full season starts August 23rd and you don’t want to miss out! Drop-in days are already filling.

Week 10 in Malibu delivered 🌊 Paddled out with friends, chased that glassy clear water, and honestly just had a blast from start to finish. This crew brought the good vibes all week long. We have one more week of Malibu camp slated for 2026, come join us!
