Marina Recreation and Cultural Services

Marina Recreation and Cultural Services Marina has three Recreation Centers: Teen Center is located at 304 Hillcrest Avenue; Senior Center and Youth Center are located at 211 Hillcrest.

The Marina Recreation Centers hosts activities for youths, teens and seniors throughout the year in Marina. In addition to daily, weekly and monthly events, we provide enriching programs that increase the quality of life for our residents and visitors. The programs are designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities. Congratulations, Coach Ron, on this well-deserved recognition from The Marina Foundation, and thank you for everything you continue to do for our community!

For 20 + years, Ron Powell has made a meaningful impact on the Marina community through his dedication, leadership, and service with the Marina Recreation & Cultural Services Department.

As the Recreational Specialist in charge of Sports Programs, Ron has helped create programs, experiences, and opportunities that bring people together and strengthen our community. His continued commitment to Marina is truly appreciated.
