The Marion girls had another strong week on the court, adding three more wins to their season record!

On Thursday, September 10, Marion traveled to White Lake and came home with their 9th win of the season, sweeping White Lake 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-23).

The team finished the night with:

8 Aces: Suri Beilfuss, McKayla Taylor, and Myah Malueg with 2 each; Annika Jannusch and Bentley Stuhr with 1 each
34 Kills: Bentley Stuhr 12, Alayna Mielke 8, Suri Beilfuss 7, McKayla Taylor 4, Julia James, Myah Malueg, and Addyson Mielke with 1 each
32 Assists: Myah Malueg 29, McKayla Taylor 3
56 Digs: Addyson Mielke 17, Annika Jannusch 13, Myah Malueg 9, McKayla Taylor 8, Alayna Mielke 4, Julia James 2, Bentley Stuhr, Madeline Wudstrack, and Suri Beilfuss with 1 each

On Saturday, September 12, the girls traveled to Providence Academy for a triangular against Oneida and Providence, coming home 11-1 after two more victories.
Marion defeated Oneida 2-0 (25-11, 25-17) before sweeping Providence 2-0 (25-7, 25-20).

What a night for the Mustangs! Playing in Tigerton this year due to construction, the girls battled through four matches and finished 3–1 with tons of momentum heading into the season.
