MARION, Ind. — September 8, 2026 — Indiana Wesleyan University Bowling opened its 2026–27 women’s team trials Tuesday night, with 13 Wildcats competing for positions on the varsity and junior varsity teams.

Reagan Parmley led the field after the opening night, followed by Alexis Dial and Lauren Sherman. Harper Euton and Erin Goley completed the top five.

Team trials will continue as the Wildcats work toward finalizing their 2026–27 rosters. The competitive trial process will provide each bowler an opportunity to demonstrate their skills, consistency, work ethic, and ability to contribute to the team.

“I was really encouraged by what I saw from our women tonight,” said IWU Bowling Head Coach Chris Karlin. “There was a lot of competitiveness, but more importantly, I saw bowlers encouraging one another and competing as a team. Night one gives us a starting point, but there is still a lot of bowling left, and everyone has an opportunity to continue making an impact.”

IWU Bowling begins its season later this month and will compete throughout the 2026–27 season as members of the Crossroads League and NAIA.

IWU Bowling Opens Team Trials with Strong Night One

MARION, Ind. — September 8, 2026 — Indiana Wesleyan University Bowling opened its 2026–27 team trials Tuesday night as bowlers competed for positions across the WildCats' varsity and junior varsity teams.

After the opening night of competition, Camden Malott led the field, followed by Devon Kiessling and Le’Veon Greenwade. Micah David and Jack Sullivan rounded out the top five.

“Night one is just the beginning,” said IWU Bowling Head Coach Chris Karlin. “We’re looking for bowlers who are willing to work, compete, and make the people around them better. We’re excited to see how this group continues to develop throughout the trials.”

We would like to congratulate incoming Freshman Thomas Onodera from Kaneohe, HI for bowling a 300 game at Jr. Gold in Minneapolis, MN today. Thomas has games of 269, 224, 300, 210 moving him to 35th place out of 915 bowlers. 1 more day of qualifying until the top 131 move to the advancers round. Nice bowling Thomas!

Incoming Freshman Micah David and Leveon Greenwade are currently bowling their 3rd day of qualifying as well.
