Eastern Iowa Thunder Gold and Navy teams competed at 10u AA state this past weekend. Both teams found themselves in the semifinals and brought home third place in their respective divisions. We want to congratulate these boys for their hard work, growth and dedication in the 2026 season.

This season, Thunder Gold 10u participated in 7 tournaments, and we're pleased to recognize the players who earned MVP nominations along the way!

Eastern Iowa Thunder Gold played 4 games in the heat today and battled hard. With one tie and 2 wins, they came up short in the championship game by 2 runs.

The 10u Thunder Boys showed up this weekend ready to play but the weather had other plans. Both Thunder Gold and Thunder Navy went undefeated in pool play securing the top seeded spots. After multiple weather delays the directors cancelled the tournament and by default we walked away with some hardware! 23 boys showed up this weekend ready to play their hearts out. They battled all the weather conditions from the heat and humidity to the rain and adapted. Both teams had the championship game with in sight and are bummed they couldn’t play it all the way out. But we couldn’t be more proud of the way they showed up this weekend. Congratulations to Thunder Navy on their 1st place finish and congratulations to Thunder Gold on their 2nd place finish!

Eastern Iowa Thunder Gold 10U went 4-0 this weekend and brought home the championship! The boys battled through the rain, played great baseball, and showed incredible toughness and teamwork all weekend long.
