Well, after winning at Monett last week, we decided to go to Springfield Raceway last night. Because let’s face it, Springfield is where the “big boys” race. Jace hasn’t ran Springfield very many times, and doesn’t know that track very well. He went out and started his heat race on the pole and finished first. He started the Feature in the front row, on the outside, next to a car that has won 23 races there this year. He was trying to run with that car, but was overdriving really bad and got passed by two other cars. With about 3 laps left, he realized he was overdriving and settled down, but it was a little too late. He ended up finishing 4th overall. All that being said, 4th overall at Springfield, in your 3rd night in the car, is extremely impressive!!! I’m super proud of him, as he just keeps getting better every week! Next stop, TURKEY BOWL!!!
