Jean's Gymnastics

Well that was fun!

This year we started our team group off with a special week designed to get our athletes & coaches pumped up for another successful season!

Monday, The Mindful Gymnast, helped us talk through some ways to deal with fear & anxiety in the gym as well as work on creating more of a growth mindset.

Tuesday, we had a Registered Dietician talk & educate us on the importance of fueling our bodies both in & out of the gym. That was followed up by a strength & conditioning clinic that discussed how strength training can benefit our gymnastics & protect our bodies.

Wednesday was all about artistry with our guest from Precision Choreography who worked with all of our gymnasts on presenting throughout their routines.

Thursday, our clinician was a track coach who lead a workshop on running techniques & how to generate more power for their gymnastics. We capped off the week with an ice cream truck party for a job well done!

It was a great weekend filled with more fun and gymnastics than you could shake a stick at!

This was the first opportunity our gymnasts had to compete in person in nearly 2 years & we are so proud of them!

Lots of bling came home with our athletes & we have 4 more banners to hang up at the gym!

This season definitely looked different than our typical competition season, but it was so nice to let them have a state meet to celebrate all of their hard work!
