💙⚾️Wear blue for Xavier on Wednesday June 3rd ⚾️💙

Softball and baseball are more than a game. It’s a family.

On Wednesday, June 3rd, we are asking everyone to wear blue in support of Xavier and his family. While we may wear different uniforms, play on different teams, and compete on different fields, moments like these remind us we are all on the same team.

The softball and baseball communities are strongest when coming together to support each other through life’s challenges.

Let’s fill our schools, workplaces, fields, and communities with blue and show Xavier that he has an entire team standing behind him.

Please wear blue, share your photos, and help spread the word.

💙🙏Keeping Xavier and his family in our thoughts and prayers 🙏💙

I am sure most of you by now have heard the terrible news about Xavier Taylor, a 12 yr old boy from Maple Shade. He was struck in the head a few nights ago and had to get air lifted to Cooper Hospital. Xavier is currently still on Life Support. This is tragic when it happens to any kid just playing a game they love. But this one hits the Thunder Family Hard!!! Xavier happens to be Our Coach Christina Arroyo's cousin. Christina is the Head Coach of our 18u Showcase Team!! Please Thunder Family and everyone reading this keep Christina and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

I am asking if anyone would like to donate to help Xaviers family through these tough times it would be greatly appreciated. You can venmo me and I would like to send it over as an organization. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Let's show how strong the Thunder Family is and help one of our own in need!!!

Coach Boody's Marlton Thunder Red 14U Team has had a very busy start to the Spring Season. With five tournaments already under their belt, this team has hit the ground running!

Over the past few weekends, the girls have had two second place finishes in 14UB Level Tournaments. In the USSSA Strikeout Hunger tournament in Gloucester, the girls worked hard, hit the ball well, played solid defense and ended up undefeated on Saturday. Coach Boody's Team ended up the second seed due to another team also going undefeated with less runs allowed. Unfortunately, games on Sunday were cancelled due to the rain. The girls definitely earned their finalist rings with their level of play on Saturday!!

Coach Boody's team went on to play in the Mom's Madness Tournament in Sewell. With a first game starting at 7:45 AM, the girls arrived early and came out firing on all cylinders! In pool play, the girls went 2-0-1 to earn the second seed in bracket play. In the semi-finals, the team faced a very tough Blue Angels Team and walked away with a 4-0 win! Anchored by lights out pitching by Mackenzie Boody and Natalie Freni, strong performances by our catchers (Haley Toland and Zoey Landolf) and stellar defense by both the infield and outfield, the girls allowed only 4 hits and earned themselves a spot in the Championship Game. After nearly 12 hours at the field, the team battled until the very end but came up short in the final game.

A very special shout out to our very own Lila Ruiz who absolutely crushed a ball to hit her first over the fence home run! We are so happy for her and proud of her! What an amazing accomplishment in what we all know will be the first of many!!!

The team's success in these tournaments is due to a complete team effort with each girl making crucial contributions! Strong bats, aggressive base running and some of the most amazing defensive plays we have seen from this group!! This team is the complete package and so much fun to watch!

Congratulations to this very talented group of young ladies!!!

After a 0-2 start to the weekend at the Renegade Rumble tournament, 10U Miller came back swinging with two wins on Sunday to get them into the championship! While they didn’t pull off the win in the final, these girls fought hard to stay in it and played great! Notable pitching performances by Lily Miller and Ella Ruiz all weekend and some great hits by Penny Nichols (Triple and in-the-park Homer to win), Shea Gaskill (Triple), and Kamrynn Hillman (Triple) kept these girls in it until the end! Let’s go Thunder!!!!

Big wins for Thunder 10U Feeney over the last two weeks, finishing this week with another huge victory!

The girls battled through some injuries but kept fighting hard and showing grit all week 💪🥎

🔥 Layla S and Cheyenne E each went 3-for-3 at the plate, while Olivia O added 3 hits. Arabella F had multiple hits and 3 RBIs in each game, while Jordyn C, Grace G, Emery G, and Cheyenne E all came through with big hits, RBIs, and runs scored.

🏅 Jordyn C and Jovie B earned the team chain for standout performances. Emily B, Carter H, and Emily H added key hits and aggressive baserunning.

🏃‍♀️ Thunder totaled 35 stolen bases over the last two games, turned a double play, and played error free defense!

⚡️ Love this team! ❤️….Go Thunder! 🥎💪

Thunder 10U Feeney showed incredible grit and determination at the Heat at the Beach tournament this weekend 🥎

The girls battled some really tough teams all weekend and never backed down, competing hard every inning. They showed great patience at the plate, consistently drawing walks and creating scoring opportunities, while staying aggressive on the bases with strong base running. Offensively, players like Olivia O, Arabella F, Cheyenne E, and Emery G came through with key hits and RBIs.

Defensively, the team was locked in; playing clean, error-free softball across all three games, with strong, reliable performances in the field.

So proud of their fight, resilience, and team-first mindset. This group continues to grow stronger every time they take the field 💪🔥🥎
