Girls Soccer Public Semi-Finals - Central vs South, Group 4 - Freehold Twp vs Cherokee

Cherokee FINALLY moves to the top 20 in the state on NJ.com.

We play at HOME tomorrow at 3:00 pm for the state semifinal against Freehold.

South Group IV Champs!

A group of young women with one goal in mind! To win it all. The Chiefs got on the board with 30 seconds left in the first half and from there - they held the number one ranked team scoreless. Our defense has done this kind of work ALL season.

Riley Anderson an absolute beast in goal and our back line Leah Weiner, Nellie Boland, Morrison Reeve and Lyla Clark got it done. Over and over again.

Goals and assists come and they get the headlines. But this path has been all grit from an entire team. Strength and vision in the midfield. Strength and unbelievable grit in the back. And a powerful front line.
