Today’s offerings from the ladies 🥚✨

Dolly and Bisket BOTH picked new laying boxes today — and one of my littlest ladies even chose one of the highest boxes! I was worried David put them too high, but apparently he was right. 🙄 Nobody tell him I said that.

Now I can finally relax knowing even the tiny girls can get into the boxes and have a safe little spot to do their very important egg business. 😂

Now the investigation begins: Which one of Dolly and Bisket laid the brown egg, and which one laid the white one?! 🕵️‍♀️🐔

The BIG brown egg is courtesy of Betty. Which Betty? Absolutely no idea. They are both named Betty. 😂

This chicken thing is WILD. I genuinely did not expect to love having them this much, but I am completely obsessed. 😍🐓

Today I was pruning my chaos garden and cutting back everything that had gotten a little wild and overgrown.

And honestly? Some of these flowers looked pretty rough individually. Faded. Beat up. Missing petals. Brown around the edges. Definitely not the ones you’d pick if you were looking for “perfect.”

But then I cleaned them up, pulled off the dead leaves, put them together in a couple little jars… and LOOK AT THEM. 🥹🌸

It hit me that people are kind of like that too.

Some of us are bright and untouched.
Some of us are worn around the edges.
Some of us need a little more care than others.
Some of us carry every damn scar where everyone can see it.

But different doesn’t mean less beautiful.

Worn doesn’t mean worthless.

And just because you don’t look like everybody else doesn’t mean you don’t belong in the bouquet.

Sometimes you just need someone to see the beauty that was already there. 💗

There’s something so fu***ng beautiful about flowers that have been through some s**t and just keep blooming anyway.

Maybe that’s why I love my chaos garden so much. 🌸✨

And peep my little rooster David got me! It’s the cutest thing ever.

At this point I’m convinced she’s growing one gigantic sunflower just to show off.

I get to check on their flock, make sure everybody is happy, and collect the eggs for them—and can we just talk about how GORGEOUS their flock is?! 😍

Apparently my friends know exactly what kind of mail gets me excited.
I got to try one of these **Flower by Edie Parker mini garden vapes** and LOOK AT THIS LITTLE BLING WRAP. She is tiny. She is sparkly. She is ridiculously cute. Obviously, I’m obsessed.
