It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce Courtney Weaver Sr. passed away on August 29, 2026. Bayou Dragon was his retirement home and happy place. He loved his customers and helping new gun owners with the ins and outs of gun safety. He especially loved to go out on the range to teach people how to shoot. At Courtney’s Gun Country and Bayou Dragon he developed life long friendships. Courtney’s gift for storytelling and his witty sense of humor kept us laughing and entertained. If you have a memory of him you would like to share, we would treasure it.
