Kadesh is turning out to be exactly the kind of OTTB I hoped he would be.

He’s still green and has only been off the track for a couple of months, but he has this wonderful quality of making you feel like you can trust him. He’s quiet, uncomplicated, and happy to hack along on the buckle, something I don’t take for granted in a horse this early in his second career.

If you’ve been looking for an OTTB with a steady brain and plenty of potential, Kadesh is worth a look.

Mygirlisabomb ("Bon Bon"): 2021 16.2h bay Thoroughbred mare by Tizdian out of Hit a Bomb.

My favorite thing about a new OTTB in the barn is when they make you wonder just how far they could go. And every single time I sit on this mare, I get the feeling that the sky is the limit.

Bon Bon is cute, classy and smart, with a naturally quiet nature. She has lovely, easy gaits,and a soft feel in the bridle that makes her a particularly exciting hunter prospect. Upperville Thoroughbred Classic 2027 anyone??

Bon Bon is still young and green, but has the brain, bravery, and willingness to make her future exciting in any direction. She would be a lovely choice for a junior or adult amateur looking for a young horse to bring along and grow with. And with her attitude and athleticism, we wouldn't be surprised to see her make a lovely event horse.
