Introducing the one and only, Herm!
First String, more fondly known as "Herm," is one of our Thoroughbreds in the lesson herd. Herm caters to our more advanced clients who want to work on gaining confidence over more complex jumps and courses. Despite his size (16hh!), Herm would like to believe he is no bigger or less snuggly than a lap dog.
When Herm is not teaching, he enjoys taking naps and a good roll in the field.

If you would like to learn more, please message us for more info on our lesson program.

Say hello to Slipper!
Slipper is another one of our fabulous lesson ponies. She is a 14.1hh Welsh/QH cross. Slipper caters to riders of all levels, from beginners to those who want to give eventing a try.
After lessons, Slipper makes sure her riders know that she is well deserving of a good face rub and a scratch behind the ears.
When Slipper isn't working, she enjoys playing in her field with her friend Chiefy.
If you would like to learn more, please message us for more info on our lesson program.

Meet Remi!
Re*****on Steel or "Remi" is a 15.1 hh bay TB x Percheron.
Remi is one of our gentle giants of the herd. He enjoys teaching beginners how to trust in him, while showing the more advanced students proper timing of the aids. Remi's favorite thing to do in lessons is jump, but he will happily teach his riders about the fine arts of dressage.
After lessons, Remi makes sure his riders let him play with the hose to cool off.
When he is not working, Remi enjoys a good roll in his field and playing with his friend, Connor.

If you would like to learn more, please message us for more info on our lesson program.

Over the next few weeks we will be introducing our amazing lesson ponies.

Meet Chief!
Chief or "Chiefy" is a fan favorite of the lesson herd. Chief is a spotted 13.1hh Pony of the Americas.
Despite being our smallest pony, he has a can do attitude and a personality you are bound to fall in love with. Chiefy loves working with our beginner riders on developing confidence, but will also work with more advanced students on their jumping skills. Chiefy also makes sure everyone he works with knows that he is deserving of a peppermint or 2 after a ride.
A fun fact about Chief is that he has sensitive eyes, so he can often be found wearing his special sunglasses outside.

This past Saturday we had the opportunity for Forecast Farms new Barn Manager to teach a theory lesson on Braiding!! Since Gabby has extensive knowledge on braiding at some National Level events, it was fitting for her to teach the girls!

Gabby taught the students all about braiding with and without yarn and how to sew and secure them in. The students did an amazing job listening and following directions which resulted in some fantastic braids!

Show season is right around the corner and grooming and braiding are a huge part of the job, so a little practice here and there and everyone will right up to speed!!
