Our last race of the season was The Bellman Shootout. Mia was out round 3 both days but Sunday she ended with a little money in her pocket! This is such a fun event to attend every year and we can't wait till 2027 Shootout!

One of our favorite races of the season!

09/09/2026

🏁And that’s a wrap on our 2026
US 131 Motorsports Park points season 🏁
Our final points weekend was another one that made us work for it. Mia was fighting a cold all weekend, Saturday was spent battling the Michigan mist before a first-round red light, and Sunday brought beautiful weather, a first-round win and a red light in round two.We also ended our season surrounded by some pretty special people. Mia’s teacher and her husband spent Sunday with us, and one of her racing friends surprised her with cupcakes. 🧁❤️ Just another reminder that racing is family.

This season didn’t go as planned. We spent most of the year fighting the car, chasing one problem after another. Every time we thought we were turning a corner, it seemed like another challenge was waiting for us.

But through all of it, Mia never lost her determination. She kept getting back in the car. She kept learning, asking questions and using every tough weekend as another opportunity to become a better racer.

Rob has been beside her through every bit of it, taking years of his own racing experience and passing it down to his daughter. ❤️ Teaching her how to read a race, think at the finish line, learn from her mistakes and take something from every pass win or lose.

The car may have challenged us all season, maybe we didn't get all the win lights we wanted but those challenges taught Mia things an easy season never could.

Patience. Persistence. Knowledge. And most importantly, how to keep fighting when things aren’t going her way, and the understanding that you never, ever quit on something you love.
When it gets hard, keep going.
When you fall short, learn from it.
When something knocks you down, get back up, and when everyone else would understand if you quit, keep fighting!

And we absolutely could not close out this season without thanking the sponsors who stand behind Mia and RKM Racing.

Your support means more than a name on the car. You believe in Mia, you believe in what we’re doing, and you help give her the opportunity to chase something she loves. Through the good weekends and especially the challenging ones, knowing we have people and businesses behind us means more than we can say.

Thank you for believing in this kid, supporting our family and being part of this journey. We are incredibly grateful to have each of you as part of the RKM Racing family. ❤️🏁

We have one of our favorite events coming up in just a few weeks.
The 2026 Bellman Shootout!

Then we rebuild, regroup and come back ready.

Because a tough season doesn’t get the final word.

What you do next does.

2027 — we’re coming back stronger, smarter and ready to fight for that top spot. 🏁🔥❤️

Saturday was our only race day due to rain on Sunday. The car seemed to be running better this weekend after Rob found and fixed a loose head bolt. It stayed pretty consistent in the 60 ft. as well as et. Mia broke out first round, won 2nd round and went 0.010 red 3rd round. She was upset with herself knowing she went red but thought "it was a .000 red" 🤣❤️ Talk about being hard on yourself. Spending time with friends as well is always a plus! 1 weekend left in the points chase in this oddly short season.
Thank you to everyone who supports us on and off the track! And Thank you to all of our sponsors!

Finally a beautiful weekend!

What a weekend at the 13th annual Junior Dragster Bonanza! 🏁

Friday, Mia kicked things off by making it to the 3rd round in both the warm-up race and the index race. Saturday was a little tougher, but she still battled her way to the 2nd round.

Sunday was where her determination really showed. Even though we fought the car all day, Mia stayed focused and drove her way all the way to the Final Round, finishing the weekend as the Runner-Up! 🥈

We finally believe we've solved the clutch issues, but it looks like we've uncovered a bigger problem that we'll need to address. Racing has a way of keeping you humble, but that's all part of the journey.

We're incredibly proud of Mia for staying composed and fighting through every round. Rob did an awesome job coaching her before each pass, helping her know what to do in different finish-line scenarios, and she put that advice to work all weekend long.

Now we have a two-week break to go through the motor, make the necessary repairs, and come back stronger. We'll keep working, keep learning, and keep chasing that win.

Thank you to everyone who supports RKM Racing and cheers Mia on, thank you to everyone that was watching at home this weekend and sending encouraging messages for Mia! Thank you to our sponsors for making this all possible ❤️
