😂 If the entry is FREE, we’ve officially run out of legitimate excuses. So here are the Top 10 Reasons You STILL Can’t Play in the Pool Tournament:
1. “I can’t afford it.”
Entry is FREE. At this point, I’d need to pay you to complain.
2. “The race is too short.”
3. “There are too many good players.”
Correct. That’s generally how tournaments work. We tried inviting only people you can beat, but your mom was busy.
4. “I don’t like winner breaks.”
Good news: if you don’t win a game, this rule will have absolutely ZERO effect on you.
5. “I haven’t been practicing.”
Neither has half the field. They’ve just been posting pool memes and buying new shafts.
6. “My Fargo might go up.”
God forbid anybody finds out you’re getting better. 😂 Protect that 347 like it’s a family heirloom.
7. “I don’t like playing better players.”
Perfect strategy. Never challenge yourself, never improve, and someday you can become the best 400 Fargo in the nursing home.
8. “I don’t have the right equipment.”
You’ve got a $2,400 cue, $600 carbon shaft, $400 case, $35 chalk…and apparently ZERO gas in the truck.
9. “I’m probably not going to win.”
Neither are 95% of the people entering. That’s why we call it a tournament and not a scheduled coronation.
10. “I just don’t know if it’s worth it.”
IT. IS. FREE. 😂 At this point the only thing you’re risking is discovering that maybe your excuses have been holding your game back more than your stroke.
BONUS:
“My wife/husband won’t let me.”
Okay…finally. We found one excuse the Tournament Director cannot overcome. 😂😂😂
