We are a team from Little Falls Youth Athletic League based out of the Spring Mills area of the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

2-4pm Sunday 1/18 and 2-4 Sunday 1/25

The WV StoneDrivers 8u Baseball has a few spots open for the Spring and Fall season.We are doing Coach Pitch in April and will transition to Player Pitch in May/JuneWe are a travel team, playing in 3-4 tournaments and playing DH's with teams out of Maryland and Virginia within 1 or 2 hr drive. Our team is about practicing, hard work, integrity, perserverance and learning to play the game fundamentally. Players will get 25-30 practices depending on weather and 16-20 games. We are having Winter Workouts now on Sundays and the Season Starts March 10th and will end June 10th. Players interested please send me a PM. This is a great opportunity to have your son grow in the sport and enjoy the game.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers Can't Hold Up Against Thurmont Expos and watches their season come to an end at the FCBR End of Season Tournament.

Nothing came easy for your Little Falls Varsity Battlers (25-9-1) on Sunday, as they fell 11-3 to Thurmont Expos. The Battlers had won each of the previous 5 games vs the Expos but the 6th time was a charm for the Thurmont team who advances to the championship game.

Thurmont Expos scored four runs in the sixth inning. Patrick Morlon, Brayden Grable, and Hunter Schaper all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Masten Rosensteel led things off on the mound for Thurmont Expos. The hurler surrendered three runs on five hits over six innings, striking out four.

Cole Barnhart led things off on the pitcher's mound for Little Falls Varsity Battlers. The pitcher surrendered four runs on four hits over two innings, striking out two. Tyler Cover, Brandon Montgomery, and Gage Ganoe each contributed in relief for Little Falls Varsity Battlers.

Ganoe led Little Falls Varsity Battlers with two hits in two at bats. Cayden Compton, Mason Everhart and Peyton Girardin all contributed hits for the Battlers.

Thurmont Expos saw the ball well today, racking up 14 hits in the game. Rosensteel, Jishnu Patel, Morlon, and Grable all managed multiple hits for Thurmont Expos.

Your Little Falls Varsity Battler’s (25-8-1) semi-final game in the “End of Season” tournament is tomorrow with a start time of 10:00am. They play the Thurmont Expos who also advanced to this round by winning their quarter final game. The winner of this game will advance to the championship game to face the winner of the Frederick Post 11 and Pen Mar Warriors game. This is an FCBR League tournament and will be a “wood bat only” event. The game will be played at Spring Mills High School Baseball Field. Little Falls Varsity Battlers Blow Out Mountain Valley Bulls to advance to semi-finals in FCBR End Of Season Tournament.

Your Little Falls Varsity Battlers (25-8-1) had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Mountain Valley Bulls 9-1.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers notched four runs in the third inning. The rally was led by an error on a ball put in play by Peyton Girardin and Jackson Ingle, a single by Caleb Stotler, and a double by Cole Barnhart.

Girardin was on the mound for Little Falls Varsity Battlers. Girardin lasted six innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out eight.

Jeremy Bel was on the hill for Mountain Valley Bulls. Bel lasted four innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out six. Cooper Lowe threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Mason Everhart, Girardin, Barnhart, Reagan Johnson, Stotler, Gage Ganoe, and Cayden Compton each collected one hit to lead Little Falls Varsity Battlers.

Your Little Falls Varsity Battler’s (24-8-1) first game in the “End of Season” tournament for the Frederick County Babe Ruth Wood Bat League is this afternoon. They take on the #7 seed Mountain Valley Bulls with the game starting at 1:00pm. This is a quarter-final elimination game with the winner advancing to tomorrow’s semifinal rounds and potentially the championship game. This is an FCBR League tournament and will be a “wood bat only” event. The game will be played at Spring Mills High School Baseball Field. Your Little Falls Varsity Battlers (24-8-1) return to action at home this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) closing out the 2022 Fall season. They are participating in the “End of Season” tournament for the Frederick County Babe Ruth Wood Bat League. Your LF Battlers finished the regular season 15-0-1 and garnered the number 1 seed. This is an FCBR League tournament and will be a “wood bat only” event. The games will be played at Spring Mills High School Baseball Field so stay tuned for details. Little Falls Varsity Battlers Struggles to Find Groove Against SMHS Fall Ball JV

Nothing came easy for Your Little Falls Varsity Battlers (24-7-1) on Tuesday, as they fell 10-2 to SMHS Fall Ball JV

Little Falls Varsity Battlers opened up scoring in the second inning. Chris French singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

SMHS Fall Ball JV pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third JP Sweeney drew a walk, scoring one run and Landon Trumpower drew a walk, scoring one run.

SMHS Fall Ball JV scored three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for SMHS Fall Ball JV came thanks to a single by Sweeney and by Trestyn Wysocki.

Sweeney toed the rubber for SMHS Fall Ball JV. The ace surrendered two runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out eight.

Brandon Montgomery led things off on the mound for Little Falls Varsity Battlers. The righthander allowed three hits and three runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Cayden Compton, Tyler Cover, and Peyton Girardin each contributed in relief for Little Falls Varsity Battlers.

Montgomery went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Little Falls Varsity Battlers in hits.

Sweeney led SMHS Fall Ball JV with two hits in four at bats.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers Takes 6-3 Victory Over Thurmont Expos in Championship game to win the Fallen Heroes Tournament.

Your Little Falls Varsity Battlers (24-6-1) got things started in the second inning when Peyton Girardin grounded out, scoring one run, then they put up three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Jackson Ingle and a fielder's choice by Tyler Cover.

Cole Barnhart got the start for Little Falls Varsity Battlers. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four. Tyler Cover came in to relieve Barnhart and threw 3 innings of relief, giving up 1 run on two hits with one walk and 3 strikeouts.

Logan Keepers started the game for Thurmont Expos. The bulldog allowed six hits and four runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Preston Yost threw three innings out of the bullpen.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers racked up eight hits in the game. Cayden Compton, Girardin, and Ingle each had multiple hits for Little Falls Varsity Battlers. Ingle, Girardin, and Compton each collected two hits to lead Little Falls Varsity Battlers. Compton led Little Falls Varsity Battlers with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.

Mason Rarer led Thurmont Expos with two hits in three at bats.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers Defeats Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U Despite Allowing 3-Run Inning.

Your Little Falls Varsity Battlers (22-6-1)weathered a push by Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U in the first inning where Little Falls Varsity Battlers coughed up three runs, but Little Falls Varsity Battlers still won 14-4 on Saturday. Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U offense in the inning was led by Parker Bell and Connor Fisher, all driving in runs in the frame.

Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U opened up scoring in the first inning. Bell drew a walk, scoring one run.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Jacob Cumley singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Mason Everhart doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers scored six runs in the fourth inning. Cayden Compton, Caleb Stotler, Cole Barnhart, and Chris French powered the big inning with RBIs.

Barnhart was on the pitcher's mound for Little Falls Varsity Battlers. The pitcher lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero hits and three runs while striking out one. Little Falls “platoon pitched” using Tyler Cover, Gage Ganoe, and Peyton Girardin in relief of Barnhart. The trio combined for 8 strikeouts, 3 walks and giving up only one hit and one run in 6 and 1/3 innings of relief.

A Bowyer toed the rubber for Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U. The bulldog allowed two hits and six runs over two and a third innings, striking out one. Josh Furr and Damon Trecannelli entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one and one-third innings respectively.

Your Little Falls Varsity Battlers (23-6-1) nabbed the lead late in the game in an 8-4 victory over Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Little Falls Varsity Battlers batting in the top of the sixth when Gage Ganoe's sac fly scored one run for Little Falls Varsity Battlers.

Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U scored three runs in the fifth inning, but Little Falls Varsity Battlers still managed to pull out the victory. Brady Bragg and Connor Fisher all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Little Falls Varsity Battlers got things moving in the first inning, when Caleb Stotler drew a walk, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U tied things up at four when Fisher singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

After Little Falls Varsity Battlers scored one run in the top of the third, Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U answered with one of their own. Little Falls Varsity Battlers scored when Cayden Compton singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U then answered when Bragg singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Mason Everhart led things off on the pitcher's mound for Little Falls Varsity Battlers. The righthander went four and a third innings, allowing four runs on nine hits, striking out nine and walking zero. Jacob Cumley and Brandon Montgomery combined for the relief effort after Everhart was removed. The pair of pitchers combined for two and 2/3 innings walking one, striking out two, and giving up no runs while only one hit.

Fisher toed the rubber for Mt Airy Ambush Post 191 18U. Fisher allowed six hits and four runs over four and a third innings, striking out six. Bragg threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
