Just In time before the sky let loose closed out the Maryland turkey season the right way. Tagged this bird just before the heavy rain and fog rolled in — couldn’t have timed it any better. A perfect way to end the season and another hunt I won’t forget. 🦃🌧️

Watched a hawk swoop down out of nowhere today and sn**ch a squirrel mid-run. One second it was darting across the grass, the next—gone. Fast, precise, and honestly kind of incredible to witness.
It’s a wild reminder that even in the middle of our everyday routines, nature is out here running its own high-stakes drama.

Opening day in Ohio came in wet and wild—but it paid off 🦃🌧️
Sat through the rain, stayed patient, and it all came together with a great gobbler on the ground. Nothing easy about this one, but that’s what makes it worth it. There’s something about hearing that gobble echo through the woods, even in the pouring rain, that never gets old.
Grateful for the experience, the challenge, and a strong start to the season.
