Monarch Boys Golf

The boys golf team is looking for a business or a sponsor to provide food for our invitational on Tuesday August 4th. We will have between 12-14 teams and need to feed roughly 80-100 players. Historically, pizza works well but we are open to other options.

Excited for our fundraiser outing tomorrow! We have a few silent auction items we’re pumped about and a lot of nice raffle items! Thank you to all who donated!

Our silent Auction includes a foursome to Urbana Country Club - a Dye Original, Ghost Golf Bag and a Bushnell Tour V6 rangefinder

Some of our raffle items include several dozen Pro V1 golf balls, many $20 gift cards to PGA Superstore, memberships to the PGA Tour Superstore, one month of free laundry/dry cleaning services from Martinizing Cleaners and more!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

All good things come to an end. Evan led us today with a 79. Noah followed with 83, Andrew 85 and James 86. I could not be prouder of these men for their effort and determination all season. They took each tournament from July to October and applied what they learned to better themselves and their teammates. Their ability to handle the moment and believe in themselves got them to districts today for the first time in 20 years. Senior Evan Brown has spent the past four years soaking up all the knowledge from past teammates and has done and fantastic job leading and the team. His skill, team centered personality and passion will be greatly missed. Senior James Hackworth gave us only one year but what a year it was! James athletic ability and ability to pick the game up was fun to watch. James kept the team relaxed and ready to go each day.

This was a fun group to coach and a team that will certainly hold a place in Monarch golf history!

All the prep is done and the boys are ready for districts! We go at 9am off of hole 10.
