P4 at Watkins Glen! 🏁

Our HART / HRC Performance Parts Civic Type R TCR held a commanding lead on the 1st half of the race, but meeting our fuel targets and some late yellow flags brought us just short of the podium. Nevertheless, a fantastic result for the team to land Top-5 in the ever competitive Michelin Pilot Challenge field. Momentum we aim to carry into our next race at Road America!

We’ll roll off the line P4/15 for tomorrow’s LP Building Solutions 120 at Watkins Glen International! That’s a season best qualifying performance for us, and puts us in a great place to fight at the front.

It’s race weekend here at Watkins Glen International! Our all-volunteer team of Honda Associates is back in action at one of the most iconic American road courses for 2 hours of racing on Saturday. But first, a full day of practice and qualifying tomorrow!

Looking back on Mid-Ohio with mixed feelings. With under an hour remaining, we pitted from P2 for our final stop. The team hit their marks perfectly, but unfortunately a tire blew on the outlap, ending any hopes for a podium or win.

We’re massively proud of our pace, strategy calls, and teamwork through the weekend, but at the end of the day, even when you get it all right, things can still go wrong. That’s racing.

Quick turn around for the team before we head to the next round at Watkins Glen June 25-27. See you there!
