On the road again, sightseeing along the way. I will be back in the shop Wed night from 3-7 & Thurs 11-3 then I'm gone again for a show. But my wonderful staff will be there to take care of you! We are going to start pulling & pricing what's in the car Wed night, so by Thursday some new stuff will be hitting the shelves (the rings I posted the other day will be out). Pics coming soon.....

In the meantime have you ever heard of Orpiment? I hadn't, but I have now & we brought some home with us!
Here's a little bit about it:
It is heavily associated with the element of fire due to its volcanic origin and vibrant sun-like color.
In metaphysical circles, orpiment is considered a powerful stone of manifestation, mental clarity, and personal power. However, due to its physical toxicity, practitioners emphasize using it with strict safety boundaries.
Core Metaphysical Attributes-Solar Plexus Activation: It aligns strongly with the Solar Plexus Chakra, stimulating personal power, willpower, and confidence.
Manifestation & Wealth: Historically nicknamed the "golden color" mineral, it is used to attract wealth, stimulate the intellect, and help bring financial goals to fruition.
Breaking Stagnation: It is believed to help clear emotional blockages and sweep away stale energy, prompting decisive action.
Dream Recall: Some practitioners place it securely near the bed (inside a sealed jar) to enhance dream vividness and recall.

Because orpiment is a toxic arsenic sulfide mineral, its metaphysical use requires unique precautions:
No Direct Skin Contact: Do not hold the raw crystal or carry it loose in your pocket.
Use the Indirect Method: To work with its energy safely, place the specimen inside a sealed glass jar. You can meditate near the jar or place it on your altar without touching the mineral directly.
Strictly No Elixirs: Never place orpiment in water to drink or bathe in, as it will leach dangerous toxins.

These will be in plastic display cases when we get them ready to put out, so you won't have to worry about the toxicity of them. Just leave them in there or practice safe handling procedures if you take them out. It is also not fond of light & the sun can deteriorate it, so direct sunlight is not recommended.

Day 4: not much shopping done today. Both pallets got wrapped up yesterday & are ready to go on the delivery truck & the car is pretty darn full. We did go back to grab some more agate lamps & a few amethyst lamps (if you like lamps, you're going to love these!). I thought about that rainbow Obsidian face I posted yesterday all night last night, so I went to check out the price. It's still at their booth waiting for her forever home, I couldn't justify spending that much money on myself! And then we took off up into the mountains to go chase waterfalls, literally! I wish I was 20 yrs younger & in better shape, I could have spent all day out here in the forest. But we will sleep good tonight. See you guys soon! We begin our journey home tomorrow.

Not sure what's happening? We are at a large gem show shopping for the store. We have handpicked LOTS of pretties, so keep your eyes open, we will post as we get things out! It'll take us a bit to get the 2 pallets & the car unload, unboxed & priced. And we are still here for a few more days.
But the store is still open while we are gone! Our hours for the next 5 days are:

Me before I leave to go on a shopping trip: "I'm going to be good this year and only buy what we NEED & come home with some money!"

Me once I get here & start shopping: "Oh my, I need this, and this, and this......honey, can I borrow some money please?"

2 full palettes & a car full later. Lol! But hey, it's all handpicked & gorgeous so I'm not complaining! (And neither will you when you see what we are bringing home!)

Good morning everyone! It's set to be a hot one here today in beautiful Denver! 92° this afternoon. But by that point we should be done at the outside booths. But, if not, I'll melt for crystals! While I had every intention of taking lots of pictures of things we are buying, we are moving so fast shopping that I am not getting it done. I apologize!
