We love you Dolly 💗🦋
This image is how Stan and I remember Dolly from when we were children. To us she is not just a famous person. She is really integrated into many parts of our lives in East Tennessee. Examples: We walk into the NICU where our grandchildren stayed and she is honored by the Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital at every turn for her philanthropic work. We walk into our grandchildren’s home and books come each month from Dolly’s Imagination Library. We go somewhere for a fun evening and it is normally to her beloved Dollywood. We hear there is a need in our community and Dolly steps in to help—like the wildfires or the hurricane. She employs most of Sevier County, Tennessee and always made sure her employees were treated very well. We saw you show up for your people time after time, Dolly Parton.
