Week of May 18-22:
This week the Maryville First Baptist Church will be available for pickleball play on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:45 AM until noon and on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
The First Baptist Church will NOT be available for pickleball play June 1 thru 5 (youth golf in the gym). The SMPC is planning a pickleball party for Wednesday, June 3 at the Tremont Lodge and Resort, 7728 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Townsend, TN 37882. Tremont Lodge features two pickleball courts, two swimming pools (one indoor), and indoor games (mahjong). We anticipate the party going from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM with open pickleball and a round robin tournament. The club would cover the “day pass” cost for the lodge and if we can from a cook for the grill, the club would provide hot dogs and hamburgers. The party would be limited to the first 40 SMPC Club members who respond. If you are interested, and you are interested in being our grill chef, please let me know as soon as possible; i.e. within the next 3 or 4 days.
