What a weekend! 💙💚🥎

The NSA of the Carolinas Wonder Woman event in Surfside, SC was fantastic! We played some really solid ball while also finding plenty of things to hone in on at practice—which is exactly what you want from a weekend like this.

These WONDER young WOMEN we get to call Royals never cease to amaze us. Their kindness, grit, determination, and can-do attitudes make us proud far beyond anything that happens between the foul lines.

We’ll celebrate the good, learn from the rest, and get back to work. So proud of this group and excited to see where they go from here!

ps. Deoni Thompson did it again by earning MVP in the championship game. Braelyn Alwran received the award for Saturday’s games while Bella Smith and Lynden Lee caught/pitched a complete game shutout! Bella has been behind the dish calling pitches for all 4 of our pitchers. This award is a testament to her high IQ of the game.

These ladies brought home some hardware from the NSA Tri-State tournament in Hickory this weekend. The rain felt wonderful after playing in the crazy heat!

🥎 We play softball… but between games today, we played “Who’s Most Likely To…” 😆

It was a VERY HOT 🥵 day at the NSA Tri-State Tournament, but these girls battled through the heat, played hard, and finished the day 2-2.

Tomorrow, we’re back at it with:
🧊 Lots of ice
❄️ Cooling towels
📣 Charged-up fans
💙 And a team that truly loves the game and the teammates they get to play it with.

Proud of the grit, effort, and heart these girls showed today. Let’s finish strong tomorrow! 💪🥎

Weddington Royals 16u Moore had a VERY successful…hot…fun…hot…DIRTY day at Reep Park with NSA softball. We battled and came home champs of the High School division. Huge thanks to Kelly Howell for helping us out on the bump today.
