Yesterday, we got to celebrate two of our new brown belts!! 🤎

There’s a lot that goes into getting to this point that you don’t always see. The hard rounds, frustrating days, showing up when you don’t feel like it, and all the people who helped along the way.

This promotion is so well deserved, and we’re really proud and lucky to have you both as part of our team.

Congratulations on your brown belts Chris Garcia Brooks Dover

It is truly an honor for our team to celebrate some incredible achievements 🙌

A huge congratulations to Professor Eric Perkins on earning his 2nd Degree Black Belt, and to Professor Dow Perkins on achieving her 1st Degree Black Belt a couple of weeks ago 👏🥋

We are beyond grateful to be part of your journey, just as you have poured your time, energy, and dedication into our team and the growth of every student. Rain, shine, or snow — you both are always there, showing up, leading by example, and giving your all.
From the mats to every competition, your passion and commitment to coaching pushes our team toward success every single time 💪

Thank you for everything you do for us. We are proud, grateful, and inspired.

🏆 TMA Comp Team showing up and showing out at the IBJJF Charlotte Open! 🏆

This past weekend our team hit the mats and came home with some hard-earned medals 🥇🥈🥉 — a true reflection of the dedication, discipline, and heart these athletes bring every day.

Win or lose, we’re proud of every single competitor who stepped out there and represented. The growth, the grit, and the courage to compete is what it’s all about.

Huge thank you to our professors, coaches, and teammates for the constant support, guidance, and pushing us to be better 🙏

This is just the beginning… back to work 💪
