We are so excited to officially share this opportunity to serve alongside Freedom International Ministries at the Freedom School in the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴🤍
This trip is about so much more than traveling together or what we can accomplish in one week. Freedom’s mission is to equip people to fulfill their God-given design by living out the Great Commission in the spirit of the Greatest Commandment (Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 12:30–31). Their hope is that those who come to serve leave changed, with a deeper desire to glorify God in their everyday lives. That aligns so beautifully with the heart of the Havilah Foundation and why we are so excited to offer this opportunity to our dancers.
Throughout the week, our team will stay together on Freedom’s secure campus and spend our days serving, participating in ministry assignments, having devotional and team teaching time, and building relationships. We’ll also have time together as a team, a special Sharing Night on Friday, and some beach time before heading home!
Parents are welcome to attend with their dancers, and we would love to have parents who feel called to serve alongside us.
The trip cost is $750 per person plus airfare. The Havilah Foundation will underwrite a portion of each dancer’s fee, and all proceeds from our Trivia Night on January 30, 2027 will also benefit trip costs. We strongly encourage dancers to raise additional support through letters to family, friends, and their community. While final airfare is still being determined, families can currently plan for approximately $1,000–$1,200 per person before fundraising support.
All travelers will need a valid passport, and additional details regarding flights, payments, packing, dietary needs, and preparation will be shared with those attending as we get closer.
If you feel called to be part of this week, please complete the commitment form by October 9. We cannot wait to see what God has planned for this team and how He uses this experience both in the Dominican Republic and in the hearts of those who go. 🤍
