📰Some days, simply getting through the day is an accomplishment. Progress isn't always loud or obvious, sometimes it looks like taking a deep breath, asking for help, or choosing to keep going.

🎉 Exciting News!🎉
VIDA is honored to receive a $300,000 grant award from Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. to expand access to innovative, evidence-based support for participants across the Rio Grande Valley.
Through this investment, and in collaboration with Harvard Medical School researchers, VIDA will implement Behavioral Activation (BA), an evidence-based approach that equips our career counselors with additional tools to help participants experiencing stress, depression, and other challenges that can impact educational persistence and employment success.
At VIDA, we believe that workforce development is about supporting the whole person. By integrating Behavioral Activation into our holistic model, we will further empower participants to build resilience, stay engaged in their education, and achieve meaningful, family-sustaining careers.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. for investing in the health and economic well-being of our communities. We are also honored to collaborate with Harvard Medical School researchers on this groundbreaking initiative, bringing innovative mental health strategies to workforce development in the Rio Grande Valley.
Together, we're creating healthier communities, stronger futures, and greater opportunities. 💙
