For 47 years, people have walked into our shop and asked the same question 😌🏆

Is it the embroidery? The trophies? The wall with about sixty pro athletes on it? The fundraisers nobody hears about? Honestly, we still don’t have a short answer. We just know what it feels like to watch a proud mom smile seeing her kid’s name on a plaque. And what it means when the Valley honors its own, and that name gets engraved right here in downtown McAllen.

Maybe McAllen Sports is the impression we leave on you…

You can always find it cheaper… until you see it in person or the product is delivered late! 👀😰

Cheaper online usually means thinner shirts, off-color logos, and nobody answering the phone when it’s wrong. 47 years of doing this the right way — and that’s why they come back.

How a stencil made 😳💥

Ever wonder how your design ends up on a shirt? Here’s how we “burn” a screen 👇

1️⃣ We coat the mesh screen with a light-sensitive photo emulsion and let it dry.

2️⃣ We print your design onto clear film — this is called the film positive.

3️⃣ We lay that film on the coated screen and set it on the glass exposure unit.

4️⃣ A high-powered light hardens the emulsion everywhere the light hits — your design blocks the light, so that area stays soft.

5️⃣ We wash the screen with water and the soft emulsion rinses away, leaving open mesh in the exact shape of your design.

6️⃣ That open area is the stencil — ink passes through it straight onto the shirt.

47 years of doing this — and that’s how your design gets printed clean every time. 🏆
