Meet the team:
Starting off with Maggie Rodriguez - Team President; #2 Ho**er.
Maggie is one of the OG Maidens playing since the team inception in 2018 for the Maiden's freshman D3 15's Championship Season, then continued with the team as a player then Team President, during their time in the TRU 7s division from 2020 and on.
Maggie is married, with a beautiful daughter (future Maiden,) Mila. She is currently a nurse and works as a vocational instructor. She is also currently serving in the Navy Reserves.

Allow us to re-introduce ourselves:
We are the McAllen Maidens Women's Rugby Football Club. Established in 2018, we are the first and only female rugby team in deep South Texas. Our team has accomplished a championship in the D3 division in 2019 and throughout the last few years, because of changes and COVID - we had ups and downs, but we're still here. We are proud to represent the RGV in the Texas Rugby Union. We would like to welcome and invite fellow women - moms, daughters, sisters to join our family. We are starting small, but we have big ambitions ❤️🏉

Great turnout today at the Tailgate Market in Mission! Talked to a lot of people about our team and sport. We will be resuming practices on Wednesday 7:30pm at Suarez Park in McAllen.
