Cold Plunging for Women ❄️
It’s not just if you cold plunge… it’s when.
✨ Many women’s health experts suggest:
• Morning over evening
• 50-59°F is often enough
• 2-5 minutes is plenty
• Recovery days or after endurance training can be ideal
⚠️ You may want to reconsider if:
• You just finished a heavy strength workout (especially if muscle growth is your goal)
• You’re already under high physical or hormonal stress
• You’re feeling exhausted or sick
If you’re in perimenopause or menopause, your response may be even more individual. Some women report improvements in mood, energy, and brain fog, while others notice worsened sleep, fatigue, or hot flashes.
The takeaway? More isn’t always better. Colder isn’t always better. Listen to your body.
