Adrenaline Fix Karting Welcomes Magik Kart USA as Exclusive Kart Manufacturer

Adrenaline Fix Karting (AFK) is thrilled to announce a notable addition to its offerings for the 2024 season and beyond with the inclusion of Magik Kart USA.

Located in Columbus, Ohio, Adrenaline Fix Karting has been a leading provider of race prep, trackside support, and arrive & drive services at KRA club races at New Castle Motorsports Park (NCMP) in New Castle, Indiana for over a decade. While AFK has always offered services for various kart makes, the upcoming 2024 season marks the first time that the team has aligned itself with an exclusive kart manufacturer.

“We will still service and support all kart makes at AFK, just as we always have,” said team principal, Jim Conlin. “But we intend to be the face of Magik Kart at NCMP with expert support and a full trackside inventory.”

The alliance between AFK and Magik Kart's importer and race team, Checkered Motorsports, has a rich history dating back 14 years when Conlin was hired as a mechanic for driver Roby Bujdoso. Over the years, AFK and Checkered Motorsports have collaborated on various projects, including several RoboPong 200 endurance races.

“I've been fortunate to witness the evolution of the Magik Kart concept since its inception,” said Conlin. “I’ve seen the kart and brand develop into a significant player in U.S. karting. The time is right for our company to align with a particular kart manufacturer, and given our collaboration in the past, Magik is the best fit."

Adrenaline Fix Karting was formed in 2007 and has since been committed to making it easier for new racers to enter the world of karting with “arrive & drive” services. They also provide comprehensive support to keep racers in karting through race prep, transportation, and trackside assistance. While New Castle Motorsports Park is their home track, AFK actively participates in club races in and around Ohio.

Official statement: There has been rumors being spread that the team and magik will no longer competing in 2024. We wanted to clarify with all customers, drivers, and competitors that these rumors can all be put to a halt.
