The Henry County Rotary Club would like to extend a sincere thank you to this week’s guest speaker, Honorable Judge and author, Wade Crumbley.

Members were on the edge of their seats as Wade shared the powerful and thought-provoking story behind his book, Though The Heavens Fall, which tells the true story of one of the first cases Judge Crumbley worked on as a young Attorney. The story of Jerry Banks, a man wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death in Georgia in the 1970s. He described the events that unfolded during the pursuit of justice and described the impact of newly discovered evidence and most of all the lasting effects these events had on an entire community as well as Judge Wade Crumbley himself.

We appreciate Wade for taking the time to speak with our club, answer questions, and share the inspiration behind this remarkable story. Thank you again for joining us and for bringing such an important story to our community.
