Will take a few hours in the morning to get the back 9 open. We have to set new pin locations and once the dew dries roll the greens good for you. Tomorrow golf is only 25.00 for all day. Come play in the sand and see all the work we have been putting in. We removed a truckload of thatch from the back 9 greens today. As I said from the beginning “Better golf is coming”. We really appreciate any and everyone’s support while we are making these improvements. Get your tee time!

Jerry spent 20 years keeping this place alive. Literally. People have a lot to say about this or that and that’s okay. But at the end of the day he had every reason to let this place go years ago when so many golf courses closed. But not Jerry. He made it happen. We still have an 18 hole golf course in Carroll County because of him. I’m looking at this place thru a different lens than Jerry did. A fresh perspective. I know he’s proud of the work I put in every day and I’m thankful to have gotten to know Jerry. He and his family will be missed. Jerry, We thank you for 20 years of commitment to this place and this community. ⛳️…. Now…Get your tee time.

Front 9 will close for a couple hours at 1:30 for course maintenance. Will be quick as possible.

Big day for Carroll Lake Golf Club. With the help of Mr. Steven Scott(owner of Persimmon Hills) we got the front 9 punched today and almost ready for play(need a few hours in the morning to roll them and set the cups). The crew worked extremely hard today so thank them if you see them. Some friends even showed up and worked to help get this done(Appreciate you Thomas,Markus, and Chris). After they are rolled tomorrow morning I believe they will play very well. Likely better than before they were punched. If ever a time to support the course it’s now. GET YOUR TEE TIME.

Saturday morning our greens mower messed up. Greens mower is arguably the most important piece of equipment on the course as we mow the greens 7 days a week. James Taylor was at our door with a new one at 7am this morning. Reach out if you need his contact. Easy financing and easy to work with. This was much needed at this course to continue making improvements for our golf community without worry of equipment going down. Get your tee times today!

*** With this new mower you will see spots on the green you haven’t seen. Some scalping etc. Just going to happen with us getting our greens to correct height with the amount of thatch in the greens. It will get better with aeration coming up. Top dressing and watering. Be patient.****
