I began playing pickleball in May of 2017 in Mckinney, TX and competed in my first tournament in March of 2018. Since that time I have gone on to medal in multiple tournaments in Texas and finished first at the 2021 Midsouth Regional Tournament in 4.5 mixed doubles and first in the 2020 Texas Open in 4.0 men doubles and I am a 2 time Nationals qualifier. I bring a multi-sport background to pickleb

all which greatly shapes the way I teach and play. I played competitive soccer for 35 years in LA, AL and TX and Co-Founded Albion United FC in 2014, a Mckinney based youth competitive soccer club where I coached U16 boys and U13 girls. I also played high school and adult league tennis and have competitive play experience in Table Tennis and Racquetball as well. Experience from these different sports has helped me create a Pickleball play style that easily adapts to many different opponents and situations. An immersive learner, I have studied the game of Pickleball for the last 5 years in many ways. Through traveling to different clubs both in the US and Internationally, I have been exposed to a wide variety of play styles, techniques, and venues. I have also done extensive study on Pickleball equipment and can advise on paddles, balls, shoes, etc. As an accomplished Pickleball tournament player, I specialize in the physical and mental preparation aspects needed to be successful in tournament play. Coaching and People/Skill Development has been a lifelong passion of mine. I have coached in a sports environment for over 20 years and coaching/mentoring has been a part of my professional career for the last 10 years as well. Pickleball is a fantastic sport that almost anyone can learn and have fun with quickly. Whether you are just learning the game or have been playing for some time and want to get to the next level, I can design a program for you. Introductory Pickleball lesson – 1.5 hrs, $45/person only held on Saturdays as 4 person groups
Who this lesson is for – If you are just discovering the sport and have maybe only gone out to a court to hit the ball back and forth a few times. You had fun and want to learn more.
• Introduction to rules of the game, scoring, and differences between Doubles and Singles
• Overview of basic strokes, Forehand, Backhand, Volleys, and D***s.
• Overview of basic equipment needed, Paddles, Balls, Proper Footwear
• Overview of how to find other players at your skill level
• Objective is to get players playing the game properly and achieving success at basic strokes. Beginner Pickleball Lesson – 1 hr, $85 - individual, Two person - $50/person
Who this lesson is for – you have played the game for some time and have a general understanding of the rules and flow of the game. You are now seeking further instruction to improve your overall game.
• Targeted instruction to improve consistency in your overall game
• Basic strategies for success for doubles and singles play
• Targeted instruction to improve footwork
• Objective is to keep players improving in their overall game

Intermediate Pickleball Lesson - 1 hr, $85 - individual, Two person - $50/person
Who this lesson is for – you have been playing regularly and finding competitive play more appealing. You are considering entering your first tournament and are wanting to improve specific parts of your game.
• Targeted instruction around specific strokes
• Targeted instruction around improving strategy to win more matches
• Tournament preparation instruction
• Objective is to show marked improvement in specific areas of your game

I wanted to share a personal update as I step into a new chapter of my coaching journey.

Starting in January, I’ll be coaching at Impact – The Courts of McKinney, an opportunity that allows me to expand my influence as a coach and continue building programs—especially on the junior side—that create more pathways for players to grow, compete, and develop long term.

I’m incredibly grateful for my time at The Picklr and for the players, parents, and leadership who supported me there. The relationships and experiences I gained will always be something I value.

This move is about growth, learning, and creating more opportunities—particularly for juniors who are looking for access to strong training environments, competition, and a clear development path. I’m excited about what’s ahead and thankful for everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
