3 x 1 mile repeat @ 7:30min/mile
2 x 0.5 mile repeat @ 6:15min/mile and 6:00min/mile
My leg session was cut short because I had to talk to the refrigerator repair man and I had to prioritize this run. Sucks but some times you gotta choose.

crushed her PR half marathon today! And stopped to take a picture with her family in the process!đ
She and I do 1 power and balance day and 2 Strength days along with her 3 run days. Making great progress around family and work life!
I couldnât be more proud as her coach of the work she puts in every week! Great job!

A lot of us take on these hefty goals and giant events to prove something. Prove to our kids weâre someone to look up to. Prove to our parents weâre worthy of love. Prove to others theyâre wrong about what we are capable of. Prove to ourselves we are tough or we can handle this.
But when we shout, are we just drowning the silence of insecurity? Are we doing more to quell the fear that we are not enough? Not just doing enough, but we are actually not enough.
Those that go far in whatever we choose to do are not trying, theyâre doing. They do in order to master. Not impress. Not show anyone anything. But to improve for the sake of improvement.
When we feel the weight of expectations, stop trying. Just do for the sake of doing. Or donât. Find something else thatâs more meaningful to you.

If you follow me, then youâre probably in the gym or running 4-7 days per week. You may have a weight loss goal youâve been trying to hit and you just have no idea why the weight isnât coming off.
You scroll this app and follow all of these recipe pages. âIâll make this one tomorrow!â You say. Until two weeks later youâre throwing away the nasty ass cottage cheese you were supposed to use in brownies.
Looking up 500 recipes is just making you even more food focus. The goal is to make nutritious, simple choices that fill you just enough to reach your goals.
You donât need a fu***ng quinoa applesauce zucchini brownie. You know what you need to do to lose weight, dial it in and sit tight for 3-12 months.

Doing a marathon is pretty simple. You sign up. You keep moving your feet for 26.2 miles. They hand you a participation medal and a shirt.
The scary part is committing to the goal. Training 16-20 weeks. Facing the fact that you may be slower than most people. Embracing the pain that comes with moving for hours on end.
But stop saying you canât complete the distance. You can. And itâs honestly fu***ng disrespectful to yourself because youâre basically saying you canât do hard things because they make you uncomfortable.
Instead of saying you canât, say you donât want to and face the fact that you donât. And if you really do want to. Go f**k around and find out what it takes.
