**Yard of the Month Contest**

**Date:** April 1, 2024

**Time:** 9:00 AM

**Location:** Eastridge Community

**Details:**

We are excited to announce the start of our annual Yard of the Month Contest! This is a great opportunity for homeowners to showcase their beautiful yards and landscaping.

**How to Enter:**

1. Take 1-2 photos of your front yard.
2. Email the photos to [email protected] with your name, address, and a brief description of your yard.
3. Read the community governing documents to ensure that any changes you have made to your yard are in compliance.

**Judging:**

A panel of fellow homeowners will judge the entries based on the following criteria:

* Overall appearance
* Creativity
* Use of native plants
* Sustainability

**Prizes:**

The winner of each month's contest will receive a Yard of the Month sign to display in their yard. They will also be featured in the community newsletter.

**Rules:**

* The contest is open to all homeowners in our Community.
* Only front yards will be considered.
* Submissions must be received by the last day of each month.
* Homeowners cannot win two months in a row. There must be a month gap between wins.

**Voting:**

An electronic link will be sent to all homeowners at the end of each month to vote for their favorite yard.

Please help us welcome Summer and celebrate HOLI with this fun outdoor event!

-This is a FREE event. If you would like to bring food or colors you are welcome to. If you bring food please bring a list of ingredients that are in the food to set out with it.
-Colors will be provided if you do not have any! Please wear or bring White/Red if you plan to participate in the color release at 5 pm.

A volunteer sign-up will be sent out soon if you are interested in helping set up or clean afterward.

The Amenity Center is still closed until further notice. We look forward to sending a more detailed update soon to give a better idea of a re-opening timeline.
Please note- even with the closure, the fitness area is still open. You will need to access this area through the exterior doors.
