Three members of the 2021 McKinney Boyd Broncos' football team have been selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association 6A all-state football team.
Senior linebacker Ethan Wesloski, who earned District 5-6A Defensive Player of the Year honors after 131 tackles and 13 sacks, claimed second-team defensive honors, and receiver/kick returned Caden Park, who broke the school record for receiving touchdowns in a season, was named to the second team as kick returner. Wesloski and Park both signed earlier this month to play at the University of North Texas.
Junior Caleb Sempebwa, who set a new school record for field goals in a season, was selected to the honorable mention list as placekicker.
