River’s are he healer of the outdoors. Even if you don’t fish any wounds that are still bleeding begin to heal with just a look. Between life and death there’s a river flowing. The revolving cycle of life when time shows is scars. I’m drawn by waters it surrounds every part of me and draws my spirit to the place peace. 🙏

This is a 7 pound 13 ounce smallmouth from back in the day when I was chasing the state record. A lucky craft suspending jerk bait was on fire that day that year I caught another 7 pound 10 ounce and a dozen fish over six pounds.

Fished with father and son Friesen today a little rainy but we found a few . This was a superb chromer we got on a mag lip notice the transparent fins they don’t come any brighter this fish still had saltwater scales.

Today our sweet Charlie turns 4 . She can track a one legged rooster on a two day trail. Born to hunt she has no quit in her and would go all day if you asked her. This family is blessed to have her in our lives the sweetest girl ever.

There’s hunting dogs and then there’s dogs who hunt. Jasper is a hunter and today he’s 4 years old. We are so blessed to have him in our family he is pure joy .

The upper trask is a great place to get away from everyone. It’s the land of giants only open for a limited time I highly suggest you give it a chance.

No matter how old we get as men we’re all just trying to get back to this place. The time of worry free life knowing that you’re loved and completely safe. The beginning moments of life on the water and in the woods. The complete joy of discovery and new experiences. I hope to stay forever young and you do to . So get out there and be wild. 🙏

Nothing but snow belly chromers today. We finally got some rain and the rivers came up a little. Me and the Korean found a few. We’re getting more rain and it’s only going to bring in more fish. Let me know if you want to book a trip.
