We are so sad to be saying goodbye to our amazing teammate Julianne. Julianne is graduating with a degree in International and Korean Studies, and will be headed off to Washington DC for a Masters in Asian Studies at George Washington University!
Her favorite memories on the team were our home shows, and we are truly grateful for her dedication to supporting the team. Our events will not be the same without her 💜

Mir Mattia Ottaviani is graduating from the UW International relations program. His long standing presence on the team will be sorely missed. Our shows, lessons, and airbnbs will not be quite as fun without him. Just in this last year, we are extremely grateful for his amazing cooking🍝, last minute mission to find Mara new insoles in Oregon🥾, and everything he did to make our home show special📸⚡️🐎.

A fun chance for us Washingtonians to ride under the sun! Thank you to the Stanford Equestrian team for hosting such a incredible show. Such an amazing group of horses and riders!

Semifinals Recap!

Our three individual western semifinals qualifiers had a great weekend at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.

Nicole Poussier earned the Champion title in Level II Individual Horsemanship, and 3rd place in Level II Ranch Riding. She’s headed to nationals for both divisions!

Alma McKean rode beautifully in her Individual Level I horsemanship class on Lola.
Erin Murray had a great ride on Happy in the Individual Beginner Horsemanship division.
We are so excited to you two advance to the next class level in next show season, congratulations on all the hard work!

Our Semis team got to explore a bit of New Mexico on their off time—with a lesson to get them accustomed to the heat, and a trip to White Sands National Monument.

Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the amazing work of our host, New Mexico State University, and all of Area 72 for providing such an amazing venue and horses. Next up, we get to cheer on Nicole at Nationals!

UO double Hunt Seat Recap!

Our regions final hunt seat shows were a blast! Thank you to for hosting a great double show to end off the season.

Two of our amazing seniors, Mir Mattia Ottaviani, and Danielle Vahdat, competed in their last IHSA shows this weekend. We will miss them so much next year.
