Wow, are we so grateful over here at Raising Wonder for this awesome group of Allegheny College students helping us out this morning for the first Service Saturday of the new semester!

There was lots of hard work done, and they got every item completed on our task wish list!

✅ cleaned our front entry porch - fall decorations, were ready for you!
✅ weeded our back parking lot and trimmed the bushes along our sidewalk - yay for stroller families!
✅ installed our back lot parking signs - we love that we can provide free parking to our visitors!
✅ cleaned all our first floor exterior windows - a cleaner, clearer view for those in our playspace!
✅ packed up and carried over donations to our friends at the FCCA - so happy we could contribute to their Caring Closet!

We had a great time at the Allegheny College Student Involvement Fair yesterday. Thank you for the invite and for hosting such a fun and helpful event!

It was a perfect summer evening filled with lots of new connections and opportunities for student involvement. Best wishes for a wonderful start to the new semester!

Friends! Wow, just wow. Thank you so very much to every single person who gave in support of our goal.

We can’t wait to begin offering even more access to our programs and services to local families. It’s all because of your generosity!

⭐️Wednesday 8/26 - Come say hi to Jackie, one of our board members, as he works our playspace hours from 9-12. Walk-in or save your spot by booking ahead!

⭐️Thursday 8/27 - Our playspace will be closed as we will be providing professional development to educators.

⭐️Friday 8/28 - August’s Community Free Play Day sponsored by Hello Sunshine Children's Boutique is fully booked - we won’t be able to take any walk-ins this day!

👋🏼Oh hi! It’s your friends, Beth and Nicole, from Raising Wonder to say, “Yay! Crawford Gives is officially here!”

🤩But, we’re sorry, WHAT?! Instead, we’re needing to say “You all are just incredible!!!” and “Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!”

Because of YOUR generosity, we have already surpassed our fundraising goal within just the first day of this three day giving event.

Because of YOUR generosity, over 20 local families will get access to our space and services that might not otherwise have had the chance.

❤️Any donations raised above and beyond our initially stated goal will continue to be added to our “Connection for All” fund, which will give us the flexibility to give to even more families in even more ways.

Crawford Gives is still going strong through tomorrow, and there are LOTS of just amazing nonprofits on there. So let’s keep this party going for our sweet county!
