Thank YOU! 🙏

One of the greatest things about owning Next Shot Golf is the relationships we have been able to form. Because of all of your support and encouragement our business has grown over the past 5 and a half years. We do not take that for granted and recognize the blessing it is.

It has been a hard and challenging journey to get to this point. However, yesterday was one of those days that was a testament to what we've been able to build. It's never been about money or trying to grow this into a massive business. It's about providing for my family, being involved in the community, growing the game, providing a space for people to gather, and investing in others.

In the midst of spending time with my kids there were three specific moments that made me realize we have been doing exactly what I said above.

📸 "Dad, can you send that picture to Andy and Travis!" (the picture is her holding her hand up with her nails painted - Fear the Bow 🎀) Our staff become like family, and it is awesome seeing my kids understand that.
🤝 When we arrived to the LLWS, "Dad, we bet you that you will see someone you know here." About halfway through the day, sure enough we see one of YOU! Thanks Matt for chatting for a bit, and helping my kids win the bet 🤣
📺 Aubrey made it onto the ESPN broadcast (twice) with her AMAZING nails she painted herself. Karl Ravech even mentioned the nails. Sure enough, I received a few text messages from YOU saying how you saw Aubrey.

So, thank YOU all for being part of our Next Shot Golf family!

PS - Yes, I did go down the hill. And yes, there is video 🤣
PSS - I missed my chance to put NSG on the national map by moving out the way for the camera shot and not having my NSG shirt on camera - marketing fail 🤦‍♂️

What a WILD weekend! ⛳⛈😅

We kicked it off with our annual staff outing (golf and lunch together) on Saturday. This is one of my favorite days of the year, as we shut down the shop for the day and spend time with our staff who are like family to us. Team Travis took home the win with -12 score, winning on the first handicap hole over Team Andy (we were all too hot and spent to do a real tie breaker 🤣).

Then the "fun" began for most of the area. Storms hit hard Saturday night, clogging our drains out back and coming ever so close to flooding our facility once again. Thankfully it did not and David was able to make it over through all of the destruction in town and clear the drains. We did not lose power, but we did lose internet for Sunday.

Then Sunday night, mother nature wanted to have a second go around and this time decided to drop a tree on our car at home. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it looks, and I was able to clear the debris in between rain drops and make it back over here to check on the back again because we couldn't check on the cameras.

We know many people were impacted heavily by the storms this weekend, including personal property and small businesses alike. We have loved seeing the community come together to help one another.

PS - I had the best shirt ever thanks to my man Danny Albert 🤣
