Atlee LL Challengers Baseball

Dear Challenger Baseball Family,

I pray this email finds your family safe and well.

After meeting today, March 22, 2020, the Jake Hardison Memorial Challenger Jamboree Committee regretfully decided that the 2020 Challenger Jamboree, scheduled for May 8-10th, will be canceled.

I am sure you are curious about the upcoming Challenger season. Atlee Little League will continue to act upon the recommendation of Little League to protect the health and safety of our players, parents, siblings, managers, coaches and the many volunteers that make the Challenger Baseball possible. As soon as I have any details regarding our season, I will forward them to you. In the meantime, let’s continue to take it one day at a time and lift each other in prayer.

As we are learning more about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and hoping to slow its spread, Atlee Little League, under the advice of the Little League International® organization and in conjunction with state and local health officials, etc., has decided to temporarily suspend all practices, games, and other events including travel ball activities effective immediately. We will be closely monitoring the situation, taking under advisement the decisions made by local schools and health officials. Our ultimate goal is to keep our players and their families safe during this atypical event. We will send periodic updates regarding the status of Atlee Little League. We hope to resume our season as soon as safely possible.
