rebuilding new lives our rescued horses are bored & want a job so they are teaching children confidence & how to ride. We start from the ground up.

Kids are taught every aspect of what it takes to own a horse. Which means rain,sleet, snow,heat doesn't shut us down. Whether its 20 below or 120 degrees horses still need care. We start by learning proper grooming & will work up to going over jumps. This is all done without spurs, crops, or harsh bits. Mistreatment of any of my animals is not tolerated in any way.

The Oaks Riding Lessons is reopening at a new location in the Mechanicsville area this summer!!
I will be opening temporarily over winter break to offer parents a safe place to bring their teenagers.
They will be working with the animals, tools and possibly small farm equipment and will also have plenty of indoor activities inside the barn to warm up in a heated room.
Although this camp will be for teenagers only, The summer events will be open to all ages and will add more information at a later time.

I’m desperately looking for a few acres available. Closing my business was supposed to be temporary., not for years!!
If you know of any empty barn or even a corner of a cow field with a couple acres available (I have solar fencing I can put up to contain my boys if needed & will add temporary run ins if needed also!! Im in 23111 area near Lee Davis high school & looking to have them nearbyI will have insurance for all my animals and my riding lessons & provide copies of coverage plus copies of all animals records & are up to date on shots & have new coggins being done Feb 16th.
Even if you know of a barn that is in rough shape I have ability to rehab barns also. Please message me with details & rent information or location so I can find out details myself if not known!!
