What a summer!! ⭐️✨
A few of our Company dancers, guided by Miss Autumn & Miss Jenn, spent part of their summer taking their dancing to some pretty amazing places!
First up: New York City Dance Alliance Nationals in Ponte Vedra, Florida!🌴✨
We attend NYCDA Nationals almost every year, and it’s always one of the highlights of our summer! A FULL week of classes, competition, community, and being surrounded by dancers and teachers who truly inspire.
One of the most exciting honors of the week is NYCDA’s Outstanding Dancer Program, where dancers are recognized by faculty throughout the convention season for their talent, artistry, work ethic, and presence in the room and on stage and invited to their special program at Nationals. ⭐️
This year’s dancers invited to the OD program:
✨ Taylor Owens, Peyton Thrift & Olivia Shaw— OD Minis
✨ Madison Brown & Ellie Waddell — OD Juniors
Then it was off to New York City for the NYCDA Junior Summer Intensive!🗽✨ Our Company Dancers, Addilyn Greenday, Ellie Waddell and Madison Brown spent the week training with incredible teachers, exploring new styles, making connections, and soaking up all the inspiration that comes with dancing in NYC!
And while the older girls were at the intensive, Company dancers Laynie Waddell & Ryley Althizer (with her brother Cole tagging along) took some classes at Broadway Dance Center, another iconic dance home in NYC! Broadway Dance Center
