Closing end of August 2025, we were Southern Oregon's premier axe throwing facility & sharpest form of entertainment! Average party size is 12-20 people.

We wanted to bring something unique to Southern Oregon and give adults something fun to do around here! We welcome visitors who want to just come and watch axe throwing and have a beer, and people who would like to make a reservation to learn to throw axes. Now we've expanded to offering axe throwing to kids ages 8 and up on the weekends! We have coaches to help you learn how to throw competitivel

Thanks for the full house tonight everyone!! We love all of you so much 😭 it's so hard to say goodbye with nights like this.

For everyone that isn't in this packed place tonight, make some reservations while you can! Join us (tomorrow) Saturday for our party!

But if you can't make it, it's ok, we'll be taking spots until the 27th for sure, maybe, potentially, the 28th too, and then that's it. We love y'all. 🄹

Well it may not have been a High Heel Tournament, but some amazing customers/friends saw the IG post of Handsome saying he always wanted to do a tournament where everyone wears heels, and they wanted to make Handsome's dream come true, so we surprised him with some high-heel throws!

Thank you Kristin and Tyler for doing this, and to our own offspring Gauge for finding a last minute pair for Handsome! What a fun surprise for us in these last few weeks šŸ‘

The highlight of our lives is the ability to get silly and just enjoy being playful around here! 🤣

On a personal level, I’ve been dreading having to write this post, let alone record this video with Matty H Photography

We’re so grateful to the community for 5½ years of support, and as much as it pains us to say it: Cascadia Axe Co. will be closing by the end of August.

We’ve coached, cried, loved, and grown with you. We live, laugh, leagued with you. We’ve watched strangers become friends, and friends become extended family. We saw first dates, anniversaries, and weddings. We watched people make connections and forge friendships. Those things will never leave us.

After several back-to-back slow seasons, it’s become impossible to sustain things financially. As a first-time business owner, there were a lot of tough decisions I/we faced over the years and some things I wish I’d done differently. That’s the thing about hindsight, ya know? But even though this was incredibly hard and caught us off-guard, we couldn’t end this without saying goodbye.

So we’ll be hosting a Going Away party mid-August (announcement to follow), you’re invited to party with us one last time!

āž”ļø If you have gift cards, please come use them ASAP. Don’t wait until the end! We have full-facility rentals this month, and walk-ins may not be available. Reservations are best.

What happens next for us? Kyle will continue his new sharpening business, but Southern Oregon will be losing its axe throwing venue. As for me, I’ll figure it out.

Thank you for helping us launch during a pandemic; we’re going to miss being a staple in the axe throwing community, hosting tournaments and parties, supporting those who’ve supported us, taking the trailer to mobile events, donating to those who asked, coaching confidence, teaching people something new, and just enjoying this weird, unique sport.

Come by, share stories, grab a drink, snag merch, or just hang out these last few weeks with us. We love you, Rogue Valley. Y’all made an impact on us as much as we made an impact for some of you.

Maybe we’ll be back, somewhere down the road. šŸŖ“šŸ–¤
